Ana Maria Cobo is a Colombian-born writer and poet whose work is shaped by a life across cultures—growing up between Cali, Colombia, and Mexico City, with formative years in Paris and Los Angeles. A graduate with honors from ArtCenter College of Design, she earned a BFA in Art Direction with a minor in Creative Writing, was twice awarded the Jay Chiat Advertising Scholarship, and received the Quasi ArtCenter Grant for an intensive artist workshop in New York City with renowned acting coach John Markland. She also holds an Associate’s Degree in Performing Arts.
Her writing spans fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, and she draws on her background in storytelling, visual concepting, and performance to create work that bridges narrative and image. In addition to her freelance writing and content creation, her work has appeared in Hollywood Insider. She is currently at work on her debut novel.
